Fire-rated joinery, and in most cases fire doors, can be found in most public buildings, industrial buildings, multi-family housing, and anywhere else required by fire regulations. Fire doors are designed to provide protection against the spread of fire within a specified timeframe, ensuring the safety of both people and property. Fire doors can also function as smoke-tight doors and emergency exit doors, allowing people to escape from threatened areas. Fire-rated joinery blends seamlessly with the building's aesthetics, avoiding its overpowering appearance.

FIRE RESISTANCE

In addition to classic structures designed to protect life and property in the event of a fire, our offer also includes smoke-tight structures and joinery designed for ventilation. Smoke-tight structures are used in places where large numbers of people are present at the same time and a potential fire could have catastrophic consequences. Very often, doors with a specific fire resistance rating are also smoke-tight doors, limiting the spread of smoke within the building. Windows or air-vent doors are another type of joinery designed to provide adequate airflow to remove smoke from the building as quickly as possible. Such windows are most often integrated with the building's fire protection systems.
